HONOURING WOMEN UNITED BY DEFENCE SERVICE 2019
This August we are recognising the service and sacrifice by women and families in the defence of the nation including servicing women, widows, spouses, parents and children. Honouring Women United by Defence Service recognises and reflects on the contribution of women over the last 101 years.
- Women who are widowed as a result of their partner’s service
- Women who are currently serving in the Australian Defence Force
- Women who are ex-serving members of the Australian Defence Force
- Women and their families whose lives have been affected as a result of service. This includes mothers, sisters and children.

The Ceremony will acknowledge the service and sacrifice of women veterans who over the last 101 years have given their lives as the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

Parliament House, Canberra
The dinner will honour war widows, current and ex-serving women and women and families whose lives have been affected by the service of a family member.
